Seattle, WA - August 13, 2015 - Samantha Kalman, Director of Timbre Interactive, is pleased to announce the finished version of Sentris has graduated out of Early Access and is available on Steam, Humble Store, and This final release comes just short of one year since the first Early Access version.

“I’m excited to hear the songs players make with the game,” says Kalman. “A goal for Sentris has always been to bring the joy of musical creation to more people. Now the community of players will decide if it’s accomplishing that goal.” As a puzzle game that explores musical structures, Sentris requires players to construct a musical loop to progress. Development version 0.9 added an option for players to export their loops to a .wav format file. These loops are universal audio files and can be used in any music application.

As an experimental game that balances aspects of abstract puzzle solving with a musical instrument, Sentris has reached this milestone because of crowd-funding. Over 1500 backers pledged to support the project on Kickstarter in Fall 2013, which allowed full-time development to continue. Contributors to the project grew from one to seven in total, including audio and visual art collaborators.

The finished game allows any of its 20 multi-puzzle levels to be played in a default arrangement or to be remixed. Remixing allows players to customize musical properties and select from a library of 12 instruments. It also includes a randomized Endless mode. It’s priced at $14.99 with a deluxe version at $19.99. The deluxe version includes nine development prototypes for players who are interested in tracing the evolution of the game.
